A casino resort sounds like an odd family pick — until you realise the casino occupies one floor and the other eleven are a beach hotel with unusually good food. Our family weekends are built on that split.

The daytime split
Mornings belong to the beach — patrolled flags are a four-minute walk — or the rooftop pool before it gets busy. The Young Voyagers club runs 9am–4pm for ages 4–12: treasure hunts through the gardens, junior chef sessions in the kitchen, marine biology on the shoreline.
The club is the unlock: fully staffed, properly programmed, and designed so parents get a genuine day — spa circuit, long lunch, the gaming floor, a charter — while the kids have the better time anyway.
The evening hand-off
The babysitting roster covers vetted in-room minders — book by 5pm for the evening. That converts the night back into an adults' one: counter dinner, cellar tasting, a session on the floor, or just the rooftop at golden hour.

Family dinner happens early — the dining room runs a proper children's menu until 7pm, and the kitchen treats it seriously. After hand-off, the evening belongs to the adults; the minder handles bedtime.

The concierge's family list: the theme parks fifteen minutes out, the wildlife sanctuary for mornings, the calm Broadwater for beginner stand-up paddle, and the hinterland's glow-worm caves for the evening that makes the trip.
